The Afterlife

Oki- All God

 

Juni- Lesser deity created by Oki to judge the dead. Judicator of the dead. Juni is the final judgment of creatures with a soul, humans, magicians, and werewolves. When these beings have passed on and have been collected they are measured by their deeds in life.

 

The judgment is eternal resulting in three outcomes. 

 

Those who lived a fairly righteous life are granted eternal nirvana. 

 

Those who stand between immoral and righteous are given another chance to be reincarnated to lead a better life. Returning their spirits into a new life. Reincarnation is only possible for those who have souls.

 

For the truly wicked Oki has decreed only damnation. To forever be tormented by the demons of the underworld. 
 

Shadows- Collectors of the Dead. Upon death, the Shadows come to claim the souls of the dead. They are entities with no form or voice, they can not be summoned by mere mortals and can not be willed by spirits.

 

Demons- Tormentors of the wicked. Those judged unworthy are tormented by Demons. Demons are dangerous creatures that have one purpose to cause pain and destruction against their victims. Demons can be summoned or even found among the mortal world they encourage chaos and evil. Other terms: Demon, Spawn, Hellion, Djinn

Nirvana - Ruled by Oki, a paradise of enlightenment and content. This place is unobtainable through any means of magic. Granted access only by death and judge righteous. It lies in a realm of its own and can only be left by spirits who wish reincarnation. Those who leave Nirvana may never return. 

 

Judgment - The gateway and spectral realm of Juni. Spirits are left wandering in shadows to await judgment. The in-between of realms that determine one's deeds and judge worthy or unworthy of Reincarnation and Nirvana. 

 

Underworld - Created by Oki, Ruled by the appointed Pontiff the underworld is the chaos of all sin. Those found unworthy are cast into its bowels and forever tormented by Demons. The underworld is controlled by a hierarchy of demons who are entities and physical beings that can cross between the mortal world and its domain. No one but those brought into hell by demons can enter the Underworld. Judgment is the only gateway.
